Golf de Pals

This course is a par 73 course, 6,263 m long with a typically British design and full of ancient pine trees. Built in 1966, it is the oldest golf course on the Costa Brava, designed for a powerful game of golf and requires great accuracy.

It´s located in a quiet setting close to the sea. In 1972 the course held “The Spanish Open". Since then the course has been considered one of the finest in Spain and thanks to its design and construction it has been the venue of numerous international competitions.

The first holes are not excessively long but, because they are surrounded by pine trees and strategically placed bunkers, you will have to play with great accuracy to get onto the green. Located on the farmland of Arenals de Mar, on dunes covered by an immense pine forest, the course was an idea created at the beginning of the sixties by Baltasar Parera Vilar and his wife Doña Rosa Coll Llach. They provided the land necessary as well as the construction of the first nine holes,the clubhouse and the necessary maintenance equipment.

The clubhouse has a marked English atmosphere and a special charm of its own, providing the final touch to a first class golfing day. If you still have energy left afterwards there is still the beach, just 500 meters away.
