The Course was designed by Jose Maria Olazabal, it is a 6,529 metre course, par 72 and has a balanced layout able to accommodate any type of competition, both amateur and professional.

The land covers an area of 61 hectares in which it has more than 10,000 trees forming a demanding course and a very enjoyable round.

It is an extensive course featuring wide fairways, planted with Bermuda 419 and undulated greens of Agrostis Stolonifera A1, very well protected by 90 bunkers and 9 lakes over three hectares. The course is known for being extremely well maintained. During autumn, the Ray grass is replanted and guarantees a flawless presentation of the course throughout the year. Recently ranked Top 5 in Spain by prestigious magazine ‘Golf Digest’.

A superb Driving range, 120 metres wide and 260 metres long, planted with Bermuda 419 with various astroturf greens for players to practice their accuracy. As well as the driving range, there is two Putting green areas and a Chipping green, all of them are very wide and identical in speed to those greens in the course.

In April 2004, it hosted Seville Open and same year in November the WGC-World Cup of Golf. In 2008, 2010 and 2012, it hosted Spanish Open and in 2009 Andalusia Open.
