Isla Canela Golf - old course

The proximity of the sea and the mouth of the river Guadiana together with the vegetation make Isla Canela Golf an incomparable course to enjoy golf to the fullest.

It is a trail designed by Juan Catarineu, very comfortable to walk with a route quite natural without looking for artificial elements, very adapted to the topography of the country.

It is a very versatile course with wide fairways formed by natural dunes. It is the vegetation and more specifically the trees that sometimes make the track difficult, as orange, olive and eucalyptus trees are strategically located as well as numerous palm trees.

It is an easy round at first glance, but it hides its difficulties. The lakes surrounding some of the holes, which emerge directly from the river in the form of natural estuaries, are spectacular.
