You can plan to meet every conceivable golfing obstacle as you face this course, from long undulating tree lined fairways, meandering streams, deep lakes, hidden sand traps, concealed dogs-legs and elevated greens and some holes have all this and more!
The 17th par 5 hole certainly has it all, from the tee enjoy the 360° view that is the Lagoa de Óbidos lake, Atlantic Ocean, distant mountains on the horizon and areas of lush green forest.
The opening shot is daunting, to the left a big ravine and to the right an out-of-bounds forest. A wide bunker waits centre-left of the fairway deliberately designed to limit your choices when identifying the best way through.
Successfully negotiate the dog-leg and the subsequent sand traps that protect the green to reach the elevated green. You will be entitled to feel a real sense of achievement having completed your putt.
The luxurious Clubhouse overlooks the 18th green and is the perfect environment to relax and unwind, while discreetly watching those following you in, succeed or fail on what is a grand-finale.
