Magnificent refurbished course with a few very tricky and challenging holes.

This conventional par-72 course opened in the year 2000, although the completely refurbished back nine holes - formerly part of the 27-hole Laguna Course - had been completed in their original configuration a decade before. The refurbishment and the totally new outward half were both designed by renowned golf architect Martin Hawtree.

Martin Hawtree has extended his original concept of the original 27 Holes by adding another 9 and created two distinctive courses (Laguna course and Millennium course). These new holes are part of the Millennium Course and wander amongst the parkland of pine trees that are often found on the coast in the Algarve. The course is a pleasure to play with subtle with few very tricky situations except for possibly the par 3 sixth with its lake on the left of the fairway waiting for erring balls.

Sit back and relax at the bar, enjoy a fantastic meal in the restaurant or sit out on the terrace overlooking the magnificent course. Whichever you choose to do after your game you can´t go wrong at this modern clubhouse and all its facilities.
